Blessing of the Animals

Our annual celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, honoring the special bond between people and God's creatures. The event features a brief outdoor worship service on our front lawn led by the clergy, followed by individual blessings for each animal. Each participating pet will receive a commemorative blessing certificate and a treat bag.
Everyone is invited to bring their pets—whether furry, feathered, or scaled—to receive a blessing. For the safety and comfort of everyone attending, pets should remain on a leash or in an appropriate carrier at all times.
