Metal Hall of Fame inductee, Blaze Bayley, started his professional music career in WOLFSBANE in 1984 and was elevated to global heights when he joined IRON MAIDEN with whom he released two albums ("X-Factor" and "Virtual XI") and toured worldwide between 1994 and 1999.
At this special Southampton show, Blaze will be performing a high octane live set featuring songs from his time fronting arguably the biggest English heavy metal band of all time.
After leaving IRON MAIDEN, Blaze embarked on a solo career, during which he has released 14 full-length studio albums, plus live albums, live DVDs and compilations.
He's also enjoyed an enviable reputation as one of the hardest working artists touring around.
After his time with Iron Maiden, Blaze has continued to tour widely throughout the UK, Europe, North America and Latin America.
He has become particularly recognized as an independent artist dedicated and remarkably connected with his fans, as well as for his unmistakable high energy, no-nonsense, live performances.
Since 2014 Blaze's live line-up features British melodic metal band ABSOLVA: Christopher Appleton (lead guitar), Tom Atkinson (lead guitar), Luke Appleton (bass guitar), Martin Mcnee (drums)
Papillon is Southampton's newest venue and is situated by the Southampton Central train station
