About this Event
Join Torfaen Council's Local Places for Nature team for an autumn walk through Blaen Bran Community Woodland.
Autumn is one of the best times of year to discover the variety of native trees growing in our woodlands. During this guided walk, you'll learn how to identify common tree species using their leaves, bark, buds and seeds, and find out why collecting local tree seed is important for growing future generations of trees.
We'll explore the woodland, look out for seasonal wildlife, and collect seeds from suitable native species while discussing how they can be stored and grown on.
This is a relaxed, informative walk suitable for adults and families with older children who enjoy spending time outdoors.
