Join us for a fun, hands-on introduction to blacksmithing!
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basics of working with hot metal as you forge your own holiday tree ornaments. Create something unique with a rustic, handmade touch that’s perfect for decorating your tree or giving as a special holiday gift!
You’ll learn the fundamental techniques, movements, and terminology used in blacksmithing while gaining hands-on experience at the forge. This class is a great opportunity to explore a traditional craft, develop new skills, and discover the satisfaction of creating something by hand. No previous experience is necessary!
Age 16+ (Under 18 MUST be accompanied by a guardian)
Please wear cotton or non synthetic clothes that you don't mind getting very dirty, full-length pants, and close-toed shoes.
Josh has more than 11 years of experience working with metal, primarily in welding and fabricating heavy machinery. His appreciation for quality craftsmanship and handmade work eventually led him to discover blacksmithing.
For the past two years, Josh has been a full-time blacksmith and owner of Craftman’s Forge and Welding LLC. His work focuses on decorative blacksmithing and functional everyday pieces, combining traditional techniques with creativity and a unique personal touch.
