Discover a creative way to explore words, art, and self-expression during our Teen Blackout Poetry event! This unique art form combines writing and visual creativity by transforming existing text into a brand-new poem. Participants will start with a page of text and use their imagination to select, arrange, and highlight words that create a new message, idea, or feeling. Through the process of removing words, teens will discover hidden meanings and unexpected connections while creating a one-of-a-kind piece of literary art. Blackout Poetry is a fun and approachable way to experiment with creativity. So join us this Saturday afternoon and see what kind of story you can uncover!
