Blackout Poetry at Ritz Theatre & Museum

In this workshop, you will learn how to create blackout poetry. To “write” this poem, you will be given a page ripped out (gasp!) of a book, then you cross out 90% of the words. The words left on the page make your poem. All supplies, materials and instruction are provided by HopeAtHand.org, free of charge.

Hope at Hand is sponsored in part by City of Jacksonville, Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, The Jim Moran Foundation, Florida Division of Arts and Culture, Dolores Barr Weaver Legacy Fund, Cummer Family Foundation and generous supporters just like you!
