🚗🏛️ TRACY CO-OP FIELD TRIP: BLACKHAWK MUSEUM! 🏛️🚗Join us for an exciting day of history, art, culture, nature, and amazing automobiles at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville!
This is a great opportunity for our homeschool families to explore the museum together and learn through hands-on observation and discovery. There is something for kids of all ages to enjoy!
We have a ONE HOUR guided tour at 10am so please arrive ON TIME. After that, you have the rest of the day to explore the museum.
🌎 WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE
The museum features five fascinating galleries:
🚘 The Don Williams Automobile Gallery – Explore an incredible collection of historic and classic automobiles.
🤠 The Spirit of the Old West – Discover the history, people, art, and stories of the American West. (which will be the guided tour)
🐼 Into China – Explore Chinese history, culture, art, and artifacts.
🌍 Art of Africa – Experience artwork and cultural objects from across the African continent.
🦁 World of Nature – Discover animals and the natural world through fascinating displays.
The museum recommends allowing approximately 2 hours to experience the exhibits.
💰 ADMISSION
Reduced Group admission is:
Adults: $15
Seniors, students & veterans: $10
Children under 6: FREE!!!!
👨👩👧👦 TRACY CO-OP FAMILIES
This is a family field trip, so parents/guardians are responsible for their children throughout the visit.
Feel free to invite siblings and make a day of it! After exploring the museum, families can enjoy lunch or explore the surrounding Blackhawk Plaza area.
