A night of elegance, glamour, and unforgettable memories at the stunning Alea Casino. Dress to impress and join us for a Black Tie Gala filled with good music, games, entertainment and stylish company.
The Notts Meetup runs events for those in their 20s and 30s through fun, relaxed socials. From drinks at bars and cafés to hiking and various other activities, it's all about meeting new people, building your network and trying something new! most come solo, but you're welcome to bring friends also!
This event is also in collaboration with various other social groups and professionals across Nottingham. This is our 3rd Black Tie event at the casino. This is also a charity event, please read more about our amazing chosen charity below!

- You must bring your ID as at reception, staff with need to check.
- Formal wear only, either a full suit or dress, whichever colour or style that may be.
- Once you enter the venue, go up the stairs to the reception and ask where Bar Esquina is, its only in the next room from there.
About When You Wish Upon a Star:
When You Wish Upon a Star is a UK charity based in our own city of Nottingham, dedicated to bringing magical moments to children aged 4-16 who are living with life‑threatening or terminal illnesses. Their mission is simple: to grant unforgettable Wishes that give children and their families hope, joy, and precious memories during incredibly difficult times.
Since 1990, the charity has granted over 19,000 Wishes across the UK, ranging from meeting favourite celebrities like Mr Beast or David Beckham, to superheroes or becoming a princess or soldier for the day, enjoying special days out, or even travelling to places like Disney World. These Wishes offer families time away from hospitals, treatments, and uncertainty – creating moments of comfort and smiles when they’re needed most.
At When You Wish Upon a Star, theyre work isn’t possible without supporters. Whether you choose to fundraise through events, challenges, or volunteer your time to support them, every contribution makes a real difference.
