Black Swan Verticals Launch + Creative Industry & Talent Night

Whether you’re just starting out, looking for your next opportunity, or have been working in the creative industry for years, Black Swan Productions invites you to join us for an evening of drinks, conversations and new connections.

Come and meet actors, performers, writers, filmmakers, producers, directors, crew and creative entrepreneurs from across Wales, including people you might not otherwise get the chance to meet.

There’ll be good conversations, honest stories, new faces and plenty of opportunities to talk about what you’re working on, what you want to do next and where you’d like to go.

We’ll also be sharing more about Black Swan Verticals, hearing about the projects and ideas happening across the room, and looking to connect with on-screen talent and production crew for future projects.

What happens when film, games and interactive storytelling collide?

Wales Interactive has built a name for creating games where the audience doesn’t just watch the story, they become part of it.

In this conversation, we’ll explore how interactive storytelling is changing the creative landscape, where film and games are increasingly overlapping, and what new possibilities this creates for Welsh talent.

We’ll talk about the realities of getting interactive projects made, the creative roles involved, the skills and talent the industry needs, and how people working in film, television and games can find new ways to collaborate.

Where is Welsh filmmaking heading and what could come next?

We’ll be talking about everything from feature films and micro-dramas to developing talent, getting projects made, finding opportunities and creating more space for people to work in Wales.

Whether you’re interested in being on screen, behind the camera, writing, producing or simply want to understand where the industry is going, this is a chance to hear from people working in it and join the conversation.

Actors. Performers. Filmmakers. Producers. Directors. Writers. Casting professionals. Talent managers. Crew. Extras. Creative entrepreneurs.

If you’re serious about working in film, television or the wider creative industry, you’re welcome.

There are no awkward networking exercises, forced introductions or formalities.

Just a room full of interesting people, good drinks, good conversations and the chance to meet someone who could become your next collaborator, connection or opportunity.
