About this Event
Black Queer Artist Club is a creative space dedicated to Black queer and trans people to freely explore art, expression, and community. Through monthly workshops, participants are invited to try out a variety of artistic mediums in an affirming and supportive environment. Each session is guided by Azya Lashelle, a seasoned fine artist and experienced instructor, who brings care, intention, and expertise to the creative process. This is a space to make, experiment, connect, and feel seen,no prior art experience required, just a willingness to show up and create.
This month, join us for a Beltline Mural Walk.
Join us for a guided walk along the Beltline as we explore murals and public art created by local artists. Together, we’ll take in the work, reflect on what we’re seeing, and engage in conversation around art, identity, and community in public space.
Come to move, observe, connect, and be in community.
IMPORTANT: Please meet us near the deck of Breaker Breaker by 6:30 PM. If you’re running late, you can find us along Wylie Street—just look out for the “Friendzoned” sign.
