About this Event
Join Black Canadian Hikers and Hoodman2Manhood for an immersive experience of walking through nature and writing poetry as a creative outlet.
We designed a wellness series called Black in Nature poetry walk consisting of 2 parts:
This first walk will be on Sunday, Feb 22nd along the Don river, located in central Toronto.
The second walk will be on Saturday, March 21st on the spring equinox at Humber Arboretum by Humber river located in West Toronto. Did you know that this day is also World Poetry Day?
This experience is intended to encourage us to reflect, appreciate nature and set intentions for ourselves. As we walk alongside this trail, We will slow down and appreciate the natural surroundings as a muse to craft our poetry.
