BGST Workshop: Intro to Drone I Photography with Conner Varin
Ready to take your visual storytelling to new heights? Join Black Girls Shoot Too for an immersive, hands-on Intro to Drone I Photography workshop at Los Angeles State Historic Park!
Whether you’ve never touched a controller or want to sharpen your aerial composition, this session will cover the fundamentals of drone operation, airspace safety, and creative storytelling techniques from above.
Meet Your Instructor: For nearly two decades, Conner Varin has used photography to explore people, place, and perspective, with a creative practice shaped by years living and working in Atlanta, New York, Johannesburg, the Bay Area, and now Los Angeles. An FAA-certified drone pilot and Drone Flight Instructor with Women Who Drone, she brings that same eye for light, composition, and story to the sky. She’s excited to help women take their creativity to new heights!
