About this Event
The Black Disability Policy Lab at North Carolina A&T State University brings together Black disabled students, families, educators, advocates, researchers, and community members to build knowledge, strengthen connections, and reimagine education policy and practice. Taking place during Education Week on October 20–21, the Policy Lab will center lived experience, community knowledge, and collective dialogue to explore pathways toward more equitable and inclusive educational systems.

The Black Disability Policy Lab is dedicated to making sure our work truly represents the communities most impacted by educational inequities.
