Join Only Us Community Group for a welcoming and culturally affirming gathering centered on neurodiversity within the Black American community.
The purpose of this event is to create a space where our voices, experiences, and concerns are centered. Black American individuals and families can face delayed diagnoses, misdiagnoses, limited access to culturally responsive services, and a lack of spaces where they feel heard and understood. This gathering will allow our community to speak openly, exchange information, connect with resources, and support one another.
The event will feature a panel discussion, an open forum, networking, shared resources, and light snacks. This gathering is not limited to children or parents. Neurodiversity affects people of all ages.
Whether you are neurodivergent, a parent, caregiver, family member, friend, educator, advocate, professional, or someone who works in this space, you are welcome. Come listen, ask questions, share your experiences, and build meaningful connections within our community.
