The camp runs on the full scout rhythm — flags raised each morning and lowered each evening, tent and uniform inspections, campfire songs (laužas) after dinner, and hot chocolate and biscuits before lights out.Younger and older scouts follow age-appropriate programs, with quieter early nights for the youngest and later bedtimes (and a few extra privileges) for the senior ties.
The activity program is packed. Depending on age group, scouts will take part in canoeing, swimming, laser tag, abseiling, an overnight hike, bird box and bug hotel building, woodworking, pioneering and lashing, boat making and racing for the Džiugo Tuntas Cup, a visit from the CFA, badge work (specialybės), and a themed disco. Lithuanian language and culture run through the whole week: Litho lessons, Lithuanian songs around the campfire, dancing, and Mass in full uniform on the Sunday.
Scouts arrive Saturday 2 January from midday to register and set up tents, and the camp closes on the morning of Saturday 9 January.
All meals are provided. Full uniform is required for flag ceremonies and Mass, so make sure it's packed and complete.
