About this Event
Birthplace of Guinness World Records - 75th Anniversary - Black Tie Dinner
On 10th November, 1951 a group of distinguished guests were dinning at Castlebridge House, after a shoot on the North Slobs. An heated debate about what was the fastest gamebird in Europe ensued. The resolution to that argument was by Sir, Hugh Beaver, the MD of Guinness, that there should be a book of records. Over the past 75 years that book has gone on to inspire millions of people around the world, and many great achievements.
Join us for a magical evening in the company of Guinness World Records, Castlebridge Inspire, record holders, and other guests for an unforgetable moment. And what will be the inspiring thought from this event for the next 75 years?
This in-person (optional) Black Tie, Dinner is your chance to dress up, enjoy great company, and honour the incredible history of the Guinness World Records. Come ready to mingle, laugh, and toast to decades of record-breaking moments. Don’t miss this special night packed with fun and plenty of memories!
