Birth Chart Reading Workshop Module I

Warm-Up

  • Why do we learn astrology?
  • What is an archetype?
  • Depth psychology vs. astrology

Zodiac as Life Story

It begins with birth (Aries) and does not end with death, but with becoming one with all (Pisces). What does this tell us?

  • Take a first look at the natal chart

FAQs

  • Some of my houses are empty — what does that mean?

Deep Study

  • Main terms and symbols: planets, houses, and signs
  • The rising sign: Is it really the “persona”? How to locate the chart ruler
  • The sun sign: Definitions of the “ego” — Buddhist philosophy vs. analytical psychology
  • The moon: You may have heard that the moon represents the “unconscious” and needs you are “unaware” of. Let’s take another look.
  • An introduction to Laurence Hillman’s 12 astrological archetypes, keywords to understand planets

Aspects:

  • In module I, focus is only on the “square aspect” (90-degree angle between two planets) to help identify the loudest “complex” in the chart. You will be given homework to reflect on upon completion.

Further Study

  • For those who want to go deeper in their studies, Module II will be booked directly with Ipek.
  • 1:1 readings are also available to book through the website.

The Threshold: A private membership is starting in March! For more information, visit https://ouroboros.community/thethreshold or email @[email protected].
