Join award-winning nature photographers Angela Robertson Buchanan and Georgina Steytler for an immersive bird photography workshop that combines exclusive wildlife access with practical field experience.
Your morning begins at WILDLIFE Sydney Zoo, where you'll enjoy special behind-the-scenes access before the zoo opens to the public. Photograph native cockatiels, budgies and curlews in a unique, uncrowded setting, with opportunities to get remarkably close to these beautiful free-flying birds and access areas not normally open to visitors.
Following your exclusive zoo experience, Angela and Georgina will lead you on a guided photowalk to Barangaroo, where you'll put the techniques you've learned into practice in a more unpredictable, real-world environment. Along the way, you'll learn to recognise photographic opportunities as they unfold, adapt to changing conditions, and respond to the behaviour of wild birds in their natural habitat.
Please Note:
A selection of Nikon Z Series Cameras and NIKKOR Z lenses will be available for trial during the session, along with a Nikon representative to answer your questions.
