"If you enjoy watching birds, photographing them, or simply spending time outdoors with fellow nature lovers, join photographer Mike Kalichman for two separate guided bird photography walks in Port Townsend this early autumn.Each walk offers a different setting and time of day, providing a chance to observe and photograph birds in different conditions. The walks are separate events, and registration and payment are required for each walk you wish to attend.
Photo Walk 1 from 7-9 am at North Beach County Park
Photo Walk 2 from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Chinese Gardens in Fort Worden
Meet at the North Beach Parking lot for either event.
Cost: $10/person; $8/PTMSC members
Registration is limited to 10 people per session.
Mike Kalichman's bird photography is featured in PTMSC's exhibit ""Being on the Wing"" at PTMSC's downtown Flagship Landing Gallery from September 18- November 29, 2026.
All skill levels welcome. Learn from others, share your techniques and enjoy the experience of watching and photographing birds in the field. "
