About the Workshop
Are you curious about the birds in your backyard, neighbourhood parks, or daily walking routes? Birding Basics: Backyard Bird Identification is a beginner-friendly field workshop designed to introduce participants to the simple joys of observing and identifying common birds around us.
Led by Dr. Rajesh Kalra, a passionate backyard birder and naturalist, this early-morning interactive walk will focus on recognising everyday bird species, understanding their behaviour, and building confidence in basic bird identification.
This is a relaxed, practical session aimed at helping participants begin their birding journey with clarity and enthusiasm.
No prior experience is required—just curiosity and interest in nature.
