Bird Lantern workshop - Adult only
Join Environmental Artist and OWLer, Barbara Middleton for a lantern-making workshop to celebrate and light-up the longer nights of Autumn.
During this 3-hour workshop Barbara will guide us through designing and making 3-D Bird Lanterns. Participants will learn how to build a framework from willow, and construct biodegradable, hand-held lanterns with tissue paper and paper tape.
The third part of the workshop with invite you to forage for beautiful leaves to decorate your very own Lantern Bird. Your also welcome to bring along some pre-prepared pressed flowers or leaves to help decorate if you would like to too.
Any Scotland wide OWL group members are welcome.
