Please join us for a Bellingham Bird Week bird drawing workshop!
Did you know that Bellingham has an incredible public collection of hundreds of bird specimens? Come get up close and personal with the John M. Edson Hall of Birds collection and explore it through a drawing workshop with acclaimed artist Vesper Rothberg and North Cascades Audubon Society (NCAS) board member Kirsten Anderson!
The workshop will include drawing exercises to help you build your observational skills and learn about bird anatomy using taxidermy references. We aim to create a comfortable and educational environment open to all ages and all levels of experience!
Free workshop with paper and drawing materials provided.
You are welcome to bring a sketchbook or drawing paper and any dry media you prefer to draw with (no paints, charcoals, chalks, or watercolors, please).
