Prof Cooper and his team are developing new digital health platforms that combine rapid, low-cost diagnostic testing with blockchain-secured communication, deep-learning analytics, and AI-driven diagnostic decision support or after epidemic preparedness in under-served rural settings in East Africa. These technologies enable real-time integration of community-generated health data into regional and national surveillance systems, strengthening both local care delivery and broader epidemic preparedness.
