About this Event
Join us for hands-on fun with STEM. Tickets are free!
It’s time to sign up for October Science Saturday. This free, hands-on STEM experience takes place at IHMC, 40 S. Alcaniz St. in Pensacola. Students in grades 5, 6, and 7 are invited to attend to learn about genetics. This event will be led by Dr. Melissa Do.
Melissa is a postdoctoral research fellow working at IHMC with the Healthspan, Resilience, and Performance (HRP) team. She specializes in how biomedical engineering approaches can directly support human resilience and enhance a person’s quality of life. We hope you’ll be able to join us as we have fun doing hands-on activites while learning about vibe coding with Melissa. We hope you’ll be able to participate!
Premier Sponsor Florida Power and Light, Season Sponsors, Florida Blue Foundation and Cox, and Event Sponsors Alera Group and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, make it possible for interested students to participate STEM for free at IHMC.
Attendance at each session is limited to registered ticket holders. If there are no tickets left, please click JOIN WAITLIST. It’s worthwhile to join as we usually get cancellations. And if you don’t get a ticket after joining the list, you can request priority registration for next time. Questions? Please call the IHMC front desk at 850-202-4462.
Science is super fun! We hope your 5th, 6th and 7th grade students will join us at 11am. (Please register students in grades grades 3 and 4 for 9 am. Both sessions will be age appropriate, so it's important to register for the correct time.)
