Billy Price Band brings soul-blues royalty to Hank Dietle’s Tavern. Price first earned national attention as Roy Buchanan’s vocalist, appearing on Buchanan’s That’s What I’m Here For and Live Stock. Since then, the Pittsburgh singer has built a remarkable catalog spanning 21 albums, CDs, and DVDs—delivering a signature blend of deep soul, blues grit, and first-rate band.
His acclaimed collaboration with the late Otis Clay, This Time for Real, won the 2016 Blues Music Award for Best Soul Blues Album. Price has also earned 11 Blues Music Award nominations between 2019 and 2025, received the 2024 Bluebird Reviews Lifetime Career Award in the U.K., and saw his 2024 release Person of Interest nominated for 2025 BMAs in both Soul Blues Album and Album of the Year.
Now, Billy returns with the Billy Price Band and their new GetHip release, Random Madness. Recorded in Pittsburgh and released May 1, 2026, the album features 11 new songs co-written by Price and produced by Grammy-winning drummer Tony Braunagel.
Backed by Dave Dodd on drums, Tom Valentine on bass, Ian Arthurs on guitar, Jim Britton on keyboards, Eric Spaulding on sax, and Joe Herndon on trumpet, the Billy Price Band brings seasoned musicianship, roaring horns, and irresistible soul-blues energy to one of the area’s most intimate rooms.
