7:30 PM SHOW (doors open at 6:30 PM)
America’s #1 James Taylor Tribute returns, as Nashville's Bill Griese brings his nationally acclaimed "Sweet Baby James" show back to the Capitol Theatre after last year's sellout! Not your typical tribute band fare, Griese delights audiences using only his uncanny Taylor-like vocals & guitar playing and a uniquely down-to-earth personality. No impersonations or gimmicks; just great music expertly performed.
Audiences rave: “The next best thing to James,” “close my eyes and it’s JT,” “I don’t like tributes but I LOVED this show,” “James would be proud,” “his voice and guitar playing are magical,” “an amazing musician and entertainer.” Come hear favorites like Fire and Rain, You’ve Got a Friend, Shower the People, How Sweet It Is, Steamroller, plus hidden gems & more!
Bill Griese is an accomplished singer-songwriter in his own right, with 3 full-length albums and multiple singles available on Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and all other streaming & download platforms. He is currently working on a new solo album.
