Choose your own adventure! A walk, hike, or bike ride, the Bikes & Hikes Summer Series returns for another year!Participants should be prepared for the weather. Sunscreen, ample water, and snacks are recommended. For all rides, bring your own bikes and helmets. Walks are recommended for all ages. Hikes and Bikes are recommended for those 10 years and up.
Saturday, May 30: Hidden History of the Fort Ditch Walk
Meet at the front gates of the fort.

Saturday, June 27: Mohawk River Nature Ride
Meet at the park visitor center.
Ride along the Mohawk River Trail, and discover the plants and animals that call the river home. Explore this beautiful haven right in the middle of the city!
Saturday, September 12: Siege 1777 Hike
Meet at the front gates of the fort.
A walk through downtown Rome to see how the Siege of 1777 unfolded.
Saturday, October 18: Erie Canal Leaf Peeping Ride
Meet at the park visitor center.
An annual ride down the Erie Canal Trail to admire the fall foliage and learn a little canal history.
