About this Event
The Bike Shed volunteer inductions are your first step to joining this wonderful community of folks who together save hundreds of bikes from landfill every year by repairing donated bikes to be sold at our not-for-profit shed. The space hosts fix your own bike workshops, mechanics classes, and lots of events to celebrate our volunteers and the community.
No prior mechanical knowledge is required, just a sense of curiosity and willingness to learn. Please wear some clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and come ready to start working on some bikes together. A hat, water bottle, and a snack are a good idea as the Shed is a largely outdoors space.
We're looking for volunteers who are keen to put some roots down at the Shed and become a part of the Bike Shed community - please sign up for this induction if you are able to commit to attending 5 volunteer shifts within the first 3 months after your induction :~)
