CUP presents BIG TUNA RUNA night of jungle, drum and bass, and big tunes all night!
Featuring:
THE GENERAL LEE (Vinyl Set) — Cambridge, ON
VÏNCCĒ
JUSTIN BEAR (Vinyl Set)
WHUPASS F2F DAVEY BERKOWITZ
Hailing from Cambridge, Ontario, and wielding a heavyweight crate of records is our special guest THE GENERAL LEE!
A junglist since 19-long time, this mix master is packing big tuna and alluring basslines for the masses. One of our dearest Ontario homies and a CUP original, he’s finally coming to rinse it out in Winnipeg with an all-vinyl set. Expect old-school selections, an arsenal of dubplates, and some surprises along the way!
Holding down the fort from the hometown CUP crew—and also playing vinyl—is another original CUP head, JUSTIN BEAR. This junglist founded the explosive nimi'idiwin shows and brings an energetic approach to the dance.
VÏNCCĒ busts through the gates riding a vintage jungle tuna with poise and fashion for the occasion. Get there early to catch him setting the pace and waving his mighty trident.
Closing out the night in extravagant swimwear are two junglist mermen going dorsal fin to dorsal fin in a long-awaited test of fortitude. WHUPASS brings a platter of fresh dubs and well-seasoned flavour to the plates, while Davey “Double Bad” Berkowitz serves up the freshest licks. This duo will certainly have the tuna running wild and free.
As always, the CUP merch team will be IN FULL EFFECT, serving up those tasty, tasty t-shirts, hats, stickers, and BOOTY SHORTS!
Whistles, horns and lighters! Come prepared for the night of your lives!
