Big Sister
Big Sister is nine people, two lead voices, and one hell of a Sunday afternoon in Woodstock, Georgia. Southern rock with soul in its bones, played loud enough to feel in your chest.
The story begins with Tri, the founder and frontman. After a 9 year hiatus from Atlanta’s music industry, a death in the family brought him back home - carrying a stack of songs he'd written while he was gone. He took them to Woodstock’s open mic scene, and people got behind them. What began as one guy and a guitar, grew into a nine-piece that fills a room.
Then there's Twiggy. Where Tri brings the grit, Twiggy brings the fire: a voice that can shake the rafters one minute and stop the room cold the next. Two lead singers pulling in different directions yet landing in the same place is what makes Big Sister feel less like a band, and more like a revival.
