Big Boys Do Cry – Men’s Wellbeing Workshop
A safe, welcoming and supportive space for men to connect, listen and explore practical ways to support their mental and emotional wellbeing.
We understand that speaking about how we feel does not always come easily. Nobody attending will be expected or pressured to share anything personal. You are equally welcome to join the conversation, ask questions or simply come along and listen.
Through honest conversation, lived experience and practical strategies, we hope to help break down the barriers and stigma that can prevent men from reaching out for support.
What to expect
11am–12pm – Bradley Wilson, also known as Bradley the MentorBradley will open the conversation around wellbeing and explore different aspects of self-care, offering practical and accessible ways for men to look after themselves.
12pm–1pm – Refreshment breakTime to relax, enjoy some refreshments and connect informally with others in a friendly environment.
1pm–2pm – Darren Ryan, Lifeline Coaching & MentoringDarren will speak openly about mental health and wellbeing, including PTSD, life after trauma and practical strategies for moving forward.
The workshop will take place at No Place Like Home at Leigh Marina, a warm and welcoming venue. Parking is available nearby at Leigh on Sea Station.
This event is organised by In This Together, in collaboration with The Revival Shed, and will be held in memory of Marcus Yeo.
