The inaugural meeting of the BHS Book Club on September 24 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who attended. "The Changeling" by Victor LaValle was chosen as our next read. With Halloween in mind, we thought a dark fantasy horror novel blending mystery, folklore, and suspense was in order. Victor LaValle grew up in Queens, and the novel takes place in many of our NYC neighborhoods.Join us on Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. for a lively discussion of the book, sharing of thoughts and theories, and plenty of good conversation.
We’ll see you at the next book club!
