22nd Annual Aggie Brose Awards LuncheonJoin the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation (BGC) for its 22nd Annual Aggie Brose Awards Luncheon as we celebrate 50 years of neighbors working together to strengthen Garfield and Pittsburgh’s East End!
This special anniversary celebration will bring together neighbors, community leaders and friends for an afternoon honoring the people who helped build BGC’s legacy and those carrying its work forward.
Enjoy a three-course lunch, music, a photo booth, special surprises and the presentation of the 2026 Aggie Awards. This year’s celebration features keynote speaker Lauren Byrne Connelly, Director of Allegheny County Economic Development and granddaughter of Aggie Brose, and host D.S. Kinsel, award-winning Pittsburgh artist and co-founder of BOOM Concepts.
The 2026 Aggie Awardees are Nasir Crownie, William “Bill” Cornell, Cathy Niederberger and Scott Brown. BGC will also recognize the families who signed its original charter, honoring the neighbors who helped bring the organization to life 50 years ago.
Guests will also receive For Our Neighbors, a limited-edition golden ale created by BGC board members and Two Frays Brewery. Proceeds support BGC’s Neighbors in Need Emergency Grant Program, which assists residents facing unexpected financial hardships.
Come celebrate five decades of community leadership, neighborhood investment and neighbors building a stronger future together!
