Beyond the Walls: Supporting Children Affected by Parental Imprisonment brings together professionals working with children and families for a day of practical learning, discussion and connection.Through presentations, interactive workshops and lived-experience discussion, the event will explore how parental imprisonment affects children and families, how professionals can better identify children who may need support, and the practical approaches and services available to help them.The programme will include contributions exploring Schoolzone and identifying children affected by imprisonment, trauma-informed practice, emotional wellbeing and Restorative Justice, alongside an introduction to the work of Invisible Walls and its Schoolzone service.The day will conclude with an adult panel discussion, providing an opportunity to hear directly from people with relevant experience and bring together the learning from across the day.Together, we can ensure no child is invisible.
