What comes after acknowledgment?*
Join us Saturday, October 10 at Kinfolk House for Beyond the Land Acknowledgment, featuring Jodi Yellowfish.
*
This facilitated conversation invites us to look more deeply at the land and People connected to this region, the difference between acknowledging history and supporting living Indigenous communities, and how cultural organizations can move from acknowledgment to meaningful action.
*
Together, we’ll consider questions of land stewardship, displacement, cultural responsibility, and contemporary belonging.
*
Come be part of the conversation. Listen, learn, ask questions, and consider what meaningful action can look like in our own communities.
