Across the Philippines, conversations around autism, neurodevelopment, inclusive education, literacy, dyslexia, and mental health are growing. But awareness alone is not enough.
The more difficult questions come next:
Are children being identified early enough?
Are interventions timely and appropriate?
Are learners truly accessing meaningful education once they enter inclusive classrooms?
Are reading difficulties and dyslexia being recognized and supported effectively?
Are we addressing masking, identity, and emotional wellbeing during adolescence?
And are we preparing young people for independence, employment, and life beyond school?
Beyond the Label 2026 is a one-day interdisciplinary seminar that brings these gaps into one conversation across the lifespan.
The program brings together perspectives from developmental pediatrics, special education, behavior analysis, inclusive education, literacy intervention, dyslexia, guidance, mental health, and allied disciplines—with the goal of moving from awareness toward evidence-informed support, educational planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical action.
