Join us on Thursday, November 12, from 5–8 p.m. for a special opening reception featuring two talented local artists who also happen to be former teachers, Melanie Ward and Patt Kleckley.
Melanie Ward spent 33 years inspiring young artists in Lexington School District Two, earning Teacher of the Year honors three times. Her creativity extends well beyond the classroom through murals, commissioned artwork, and her continued involvement in arts education, including the South Carolina State Fair.
Patt Kleckley dedicated more than 34 years to teaching art at Northside Middle School, earning multiple Teacher of the Year honors. After decades of encouraging others to create, Patt is excited to share her own artwork in her very first art show!
This exhibition is a special full-circle moment for Steven, celebrating two women who helped shape his artistic journey and the lasting impact of great teachers.
