We are excited to announce our keynote speaker Evie Garces, Vice President of Line Maintenance at American Airlines. As the first woman to hold this role and serve as American’s FAA-certificated Director of Maintenance, Garces spent 27 years building her career from the floor up. Today, she oversees the airworthiness of more than 1,000 aircraft and leads 10,000 technicians nationwide. Driven by a passion to show families that an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license opens doors to elite careers, she dedicates her spare time to recruiting and inspiring the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals.
