Celebrate men while they’re here. Jiu-Jitsu, honest conversation, shared food and brotherhood with HWH × GB Top Team.About this Event
CELEBRATE MEN WHILE THEY’RE HERE
Before the fame. Beyond success. Worth celebrating now.
Behind the father, provider, coach, friend and man who always says “I’m fine”, there is a person who deserves care, connection and celebration.
Beyond Silent Battles is Holistic Wellbeing Hub CIC’s International Men’s Day celebration through Talk 2 A Brother with GB Top Team. Join us on Friday 20 November 2026, 7–10pm, at GBTT, 110–112 Morden Road, Mitcham, CR4 4DA.
Come as you are. Bring a friend, brother or father figure. No pressure to train, speak publicly or share a personal story.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Optional Jiu-Jitsu and connection on the mats, guided by coaches and experience.
• A facilitated guest panel on everyday strength, wellbeing, identity and asking for support.
• Shared food, introductions, networking and time to let your hair down and enjoy the night.
• Forge Friday Chat & Chill and practical routes into ongoing community activity.

TRAINING: RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CONSENT
Training is optional. Jiu-Jitsu is a contact activity with foreseeable risks including bruising, strains and injury. Before training, complete the venue’s participant registration and activity consent, attend the safety briefing, and tell the coach privately about relevant injuries, conditions or limitations. Seek medical advice where appropriate.
Follow coaching instructions, work within your ability, respect your partner, tap early and stop when asked. You may sit out or stop at any time. Do not train with a contagious illness, suspected skin infection or an injury that makes participation unsafe. Wear clean training clothes, keep nails short, remove jewellery, bring water and keep shoes off the mats.
Nothing in this acknowledgement excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Ticket purchase does not replace the activity briefing or participant consent process.
A RESPECTFUL SPACE
Listen without judgement. No pressure to disclose. No harassment, discrimination or recording another person’s story without permission. Respect privacy; safeguarding concerns may require information to be shared appropriately. This is community peer connection, not therapy or an emergency service. Speak privately to the event team if you need support or a break.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND PRIVACY
Photography may take place. Tell the team at check-in if you do not want identifiable photographs or video so we can explain the arrangements. Personal stories and youth images require specific permission. Attendance is not blanket media consent. Booking details are used to manage places and essential event communications; optional future marketing is a separate choice. Share sensitive health or safeguarding information privately, not on public pages.
FOOD, ACCESS AND QUESTIONS
Email dietary, allergy, access or participation needs to [email protected] before attending. Ask about access before booking if an adjustment is essential. We will confirm what can be provided rather than assume facilities or allergen-free food.
