Have you ever wondered what’s actually going on underneath that reaction?Beyond Reacting is an owners-only workshop designed to help you understand the dog behind the behaviour, and it’s explained in a language you can actually understand, no jargon or fancy terminology, and there’s not a Thesaurus in sight! Just good old plain English (well, Yorkshire!).
We’ll take a deep dive into what’s happening internally and externally when our dogs react, covering topics including stress and trigger stacking, thresholds, body language, fight/flight/freeze/fornicate response, pain and behaviour, reinforcement, learning and what happens in our dogs brain during a reaction.
This workshop is ideal for anyone living with a reactive, anxious, frustrated or easily overwhelmed dog - whether you’re already training with us, have trained with us in the past or you simply want to understand your dog better. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
The workshop will be a ‘Dog Free Zone’, there are no dogs attending, so you can relax, learn, ask questions, and take everything in without worrying about having to manage your dog at the same time.
