As we head into Halloween season, join author Kat Clark for a dark and atmospheric evening celebrating the release of her YA fantasy, Beyond Fate, the first book in the Opals of Daor trilogy.
Inspired by Celtic mythology, ghosts and the darker side of the imagination, Beyond Fate follows Zara — a seventeen-year-old girl with a secret she doesn't understand and a gift she cannot escape. Because she can see things others cannot.
For one night, step out of the pages and into the world that helped inspire Daor. Expect an evening of dark fantasy, magic and a little something supernatural…

Zara is clairvoyant. She sees beyond what others can see — and tarot felt like the perfect way to bring a little of that supernatural element into the evening.
If you'd like to experience your own glimpse beyond the veil, you can request a tarot reading when booking your ticket. Readings will be offered throughout the evening on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that if demand is high, this may have to become a group platform reading. I'll do my very best to make sure everyone who requests a reading gets a little time with the cards.

Age guidance: While there are no age restrictions, the event is aimed primarily at YA readers and adults (12+). The evening has a dark and atmospheric feel, and the caves can be quite eerie, so please consider whether the setting and activities will be suitable and enjoyable for younger children.
