About this Event
Beyond CICO - Expanding the Tier II Toolbox
Check-In/Check-Out is strong practice — but in many schools it is the only Tier 2 tool on the shelf, so every student gets it no matter what is driving the behavior.
This full-day institute is about the rest of the toolbox: identifying students earlier and more equitably, naming the function behind a behavior, and matching students to supports that fit — attendance interventions, mentoring, skill groups, break passes, behavior contracts, self-monitoring, and home notes. We build the systems side too, so students move through Tier 2 instead of living in it.
What your team takes home:
- A function-matching matrix built on your own menu of supports
- Written entry, response, and exit criteria you can use Monday
- Interventions beyond CICO, each with the data it needs
- A gap audit of your toolbox and a 90-day build plan
Who is this for?
Tier 2 and MTSS teams, counselors, school psychologists, behavior specialists, interventionists, and building and district administrators. Teams that come together get the most out of the day.
