Beyond Business Cards Part 1.5: How to Continue to Confidently Network
You’ve learned the foundations. Now it’s time to actually use them.
Beyond Business Cards Part 1.5 is a hands-on refresher and real-world practice session designed to help you stop overthinking networking and start feeling more comfortable, confident and natural in the room.
Because knowing what to do and actually feeling confident enough to do it are two very different things.
This isn’t another workshop where you sit and take notes for two hours. We’re going to practice.
WHAT WE’LL WORK ON
We’ll refresh some of the most important concepts from Beyond Business Cards Part 1, including:
- Identity + your “I AM” statements
- Creating an introduction that actually sounds like you
- Telling your story in a way people remember
- Holding space and becoming a better listener
- Building genuine confidence in networking environments
Then we’ll take it further with the real-world situations that can make networking uncomfortable:
- How to confidently enter a room alone
- How to approach someone you don’t know
- How to join an existing conversation
- How to leave a conversation without making it awkward
- How to remember names — and what to do when you forget one
- How to introduce two people and become a connector
- How to follow up without sounding salesy
- What to do when someone doesn’t respond
- Live networking practice with feedback

This workshop is for entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals who want to build stronger relationships through networking but sometimes find themselves overthinking what to say, how to approach people or how to follow up afterward.
You do not need to have attended Part 1 to participate.
