About this Event
Military culture has its own language, humor, core values, and unspoken rules. For civilian HR teams and hiring managers, bridging that cultural divide does not have to feel intimidating or overwhelming. In fact, it can be a genuine opportunity for connection, learning, and even a little fun.
This session takes an interactive, culturally rich look at what life in the military actually looks like and how those lived experiences shape daily workplace dynamics. Together, we will look beyond basic appreciation efforts and explore how military backgrounds influence communication styles, leadership approaches, and team collaboration.
Because we will meet right before Veterans Day, you will also walk away with immediate, actionable ideas you can implement in your organization the following week to honor veterans and the military community in ways that feel genuine and impactful.
