Join St Martin's Players for an evening of mishaps, misunderstandings and murderous-looking mayhem where absolutely nothing is quite as suspicious as it seems… in this comedy written by Derek Benfield and directed by Steve Morley.Jane and Andrew live in a pleasant country house which has gained a rather unfortunate reputation… six people have already died there in a series of unfortunate and somewhat embarrassing accidents.
When their daughter Sally's boyfriend, Geoff, arrives for the weekend, an innocent conversational mix-up leads him to suspect that there may be something rather more sinister going on.
Then a body is discovered in a cupboard.
And when a visiting vicar also passes away just as Geoff's parents announce they're coming to visit, there's only one thing for it , keep calm, keep up appearances… and hide the evidence!
What follows is a wonderfully chaotic comedy of misunderstandings, unexpected visitors, suspicious behaviour and the increasingly difficult problem of what to do with all those bodies!
Can Jane and Andrew convince Geoff that everything is perfectly innocent or will their attempts to cover up the truth only make them look even more guilty?
