About this Event
After a failed attempt at talking to her dentist, Woman goes to her Great Aunt Martha's house--who is throwing a Halloween party for the parish's dying priest. Once guests arrive, parish patrons bombard her with passive-aggressive remarks which leads her to escape outside where she starts a conversation with a fake priest. There's anger, there's death, and sometimes there's just a cigarette with a bottle of red that's yet to be drunk.
Ava Buckley-Wilson (she/her) is a St. Louis native who's very excited to be producing her original play with the New Orleans Fringe Festival. Her inspirations are Issa Rae, Nathan Fielder, and John Wilson. When she's not roll'n like the Mississippi, Ava enjoys laughing with friends and looking at the ducks in Audubon. She would like to thank all of her friends and family for their kindness- she is kept alive by the grace that y'all give her!
Due to the intimate space, we encourage and ask our audience to bring their own seating. Also, we encourage everyone to wear red! Channel your inner lobster!
