About this Event
Join us at Kingsland on Thursday, October 1st at 7pm for our continuing lecture series featuring Dr. Ronald J. Brown.
Two children of Queens are battling it out: President Donald Trump and Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The Flushing Remonstrance of 1654 pleaded for freedom of religion for all Christians, Jews and Muslims and inspired the American constitutional ideals of freedom of religion and separation of church and state. After almost half a century this vision of Flushing’s Quakers, Baptists and Independents is again put in question. Will the vision of the Flushing Remonstrance long endure?
Admission is $7 for non-members and $5 for members.
Limited on-site parking is available.
