betabreakfast

betabreakfast is our weekly breakfast tradition at betahaus | Kreuzberg connecting entrepreneurs, startups, creatives, and anyone interested in the Berlin startup scene. Sometimes it’s breakfast and sometimes it’s a pitch event. We’ve had tea tastings, panels, crypto meet ups, demos, and live performances from time to time, too. It’s the original breakfast event since +10 years connecting Berlin entrepreneurs, and the best way to break into the betahaus community.

We’ll bring the croissants. You make the connections.

In an age of ecological and social crises that have triggered a massive spike in eco-anxiety and alienation, Environmental Biologist and Diving Instructor Elettra sees this as a crisis of disconnection - from ourselves, our communities and our planet. And she believes scuba diving can be a powerful tool to help us heal; if you can learn to trust your body underwater - where you don’t naturally belong, yet find a way to keep yourself alive - you will remember how to do the same above the surface.

Up until now we have treated AR (Augmented Reality) as a new content format, like video or social media. Ivan is here to argue that we’ve had it wrong; AR and immersive tech is actually infrastructure, and it’s becoming the visual interface for AI. Drawing on a decade building immersive campaigns for brands like Meta and Red Bull, he breaks down what this means for anyone creating experiences worth paying attention to.
