Best Ever Body Butter Workshop
Come make your own luxurious, all-natural whipped body butter in this fun, hands-on workshop.
Together, we’ll explore the basics of body care ingredients and learn what makes body butter different from lotions, creams, balms and gels. You’ll discover how different oils, butters and essential oils can help hydrate, soothe and protect your skin, then create your own beautiful body butter to take home.
This workshop is designed for beginners, so no previous experience is needed. We’ll keep things simple, practical and fun, with plenty of guidance along the way.
What You’ll Learn
During the workshop, we’ll cover:
- The difference between body butter, cream, lotion, balm and gel
- How popular oils and butters benefit the skin
- How to choose ingredients for dry, sensitive or everyday skin
- How to properly blend and whip body butter
- Tips for scenting and customizing your recipe
- Storage, shelf life and how to make your body butter again at home
What You’ll Make
Each participant will create and take home two large jars of handmade whipped body butter, along with recipes and simple instructions so you can recreate your favourites at home. The larger jars will be provided, however you are also welcome to bring your own small sample jars if you are making several smaller gifts for family or friends!
You’ll leave with beautiful high-quality skincare products you made yourself, plus a better understanding of how natural skincare ingredients work.

Experience Level: Beginner friendly
All materials and equipment are provided.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy.
