About this Event
The Living Archive: a reclamation of the legacies and voices of Chattanooga's Pleasant Garden Cemetery.
This performance at Pleasant Garden Cemetery invites you to remember differently—to look beyond the cemetery as a final resting place and recognize it as a living record of Black Chattanooga history.
Dive into 12 captivating performance monologues that bring history and stories to life right where it all happened, among the very stones that mark the lives of those who rest here.
Through storytelling, performance, and remembrance, Chattanooga legends will have the opportunity to speak again—sharing stories shaped by love, perseverance, sacrifice, faith, community, and an unwavering commitment to a place they called home.
Don't miss out on this unforgettable event!
